Lighting

Lighting demands depend on different applications whether they are offices, packaging stores, grader rooms, pack-houses or CA stores.

Packhouses for example require food safe light fittings, correct Lux (light) levels and specific colour light suitable for produce inspection. All of these factors will be embraced when designing a lighting plan.
Integrated emergency lighting fittings are used where possible within the design and separate fittings for lighting of emergency exits.

Post harvest fruit and vegetables have different Lux levels and require suitable food safe fittings.

Fruit store lighting can be controlled at individual points or automatically by the opening of the store door. They can be integrated into the refrigeration control system so that the refrigeration stops and the lights come on when the door is opened.

LED fittings are a popular option and can be installed to most applications where required.
